On January 5, 2007, the Star City Banquet and Conference Center opened to the community. With over 7,500 square feet of space, the facility is one of the largest of its kind in southwest Virginia. The Star City Banquet and Conference Center can host many events from corporate and social gatherings to conferences, seminars, receptions, and private parties.

The Star City Banquet and Conference Center also transforms into one of the most state-of-the-art bingo halls in the Roanoke Valley. Bingo is played every Wednesday and Thursday night.

Bingo-related amenities include a 1,200 square foot fully enclosed non-smoking room, four flashboard bingo monitors, ten color monitors, and a state-of-the-art bingo call machine featuring computer verification.

Additional amenities include high speed wireless internet, an on-site ATM and staffed kitchen that can fulfill any catering need upon request.
